Contend for Your Faith

Everything in your world may be screaming at you, the negative…Coming from every which way. There are times when those negative influences get the best of you; causing you to react and to believe whatever they are saying. Your reactions come in many forms…(i.e. reduced prayer time and when you pray, you are praying desperate prayers; reduced fellowship time with other believers, causing you to not attend church services or to not be faithful to things you were once committed to; reduced Word time, you look at the Bible, but you question its validity because your answers seem to have been delayed; you get silent; stay to yourself and do not call anyone that can speak faith and encouragement to you or you don’t speak the Word to yourself). IT IS AN ATTACK!

It is an attack against your Faith and every testimony of God’s faithfulness, you have experienced and look to experience. Your enemy knows that if he can derail your faith in God, your doubt begins to build “walls of distrust”, restricting the manifestations of God’s manifested answers. When this happens, that is when you must contend for your Faith. Contend against all that comes against you, utilizing the most Powerful weapon you possess in your arsenal…”The Word of God”. It has the ability to transcend those negative occurrences, which seem to not let up. It can change the heart of mankind and it can alter the course of your life.

Jude 1:3 says, “… it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

Joshua 10:24b-25 says, “…Joshua called for all the men of Israel, and said unto the captains of the men of war which went with him, Come near, put your feet upon the necks of these kings. And they came near, and put their feet upon the necks of them. And Joshua said unto them, Fear not, nor be dismayed, be strong and of good courage: for thus shall the LORD do to all your enemies against whom ye fight.”

In the Name of Jesus, put your foot on the neck of your enemy. Kick him, scratch him, pull the hair and bite if you must! Do whatever you need to do; to maintain your Faith in God!   Never give up! There is NO OTHER OPTION!!!
